In a slight change from the norm, we hosted an evening Community Singing event St Conan’s this evening,lead, of course, by the wonderful Stephen Williams with Miriam Harden accompanying on Piano.
The theme for this evenings fun was “Songs from the Shows” and included some classics from shows such as The Sound of Music, The Lion King, Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls, Oliver and South Pacific.
Around 60 members of the community sang along and enjoyed the fun, refreshed, of course, with tea, coffee and cakes!
To add a little “West End Glitz” to the proceedings, the team tried out some of the new dynamic lighting which was recently purchased through funding from our friends at GreenPower. Whilst still a little too light outside to see the full effect, we think it worked really well!
