Penitent Window

Penitent Window

Here in the bell tower is the Penitent window. This shows the Penitent man, humbled before the open tomb of Christ. Symbols of the thistle, representing Scotland and the lily, representing Purity are repeated around the window.

You may notice that at the moment, the window has been replaced by a facsimile. The actual window had sustained some storm damage and has been carefully removed. Once we have the funds available, it will be repaired and restored.
