Kosonen Ranieri Duo

Today we were treated to a wonderful ethereal concert by the very talented Kosonen Ranieri Duo or namely Mianoora Kosonen on piano and violist Arianna Ranieri.

The accoustics in the Kirk made the music even more beautiful as the duo gave performed a concert entitled “Apres un Reve”…After a Dream.

The music was inspired by night music, dreams and lullabies and the audience was mesmorised as the girls played haunting tunes from Schumann, Chopin, Vaughan Williams, Faure, Clarke and more.

Of course, it was followed by coffee and cake!
