As part of our work, supported the National Lottery Heritage Fund to create a program of community activities, events and festivals we had our first ever pumpkin festival in 2023.
Our friends at the Ben Cruachan Inn kindly donated over 100 pumpkins that we were able to deliver to 2 local primary schools in Taynuilt and Dalmally for carving.
The carved pumpkins were then moved to St Conan’s for a dark and spooky evening, when visitors could see the display.
Our very own Rosie, aka the Witch of the Kirk, handed our goodies from her bubbling cauldron to the children, whilst bubbling cups of mud and eyeballs (ok…hot chocolate and marshmallows) were on offer to keep the chill away.
We’re looking forward to next year!
