Saturday saw the Kirk holding it’s Pumpkin Festival for the second year. Once again, the pumpkins were kindly donated by our friends at The Ben Cruachan Inn and supplied directly to Dalmally and Taynuilt primary schools by JM Breckenridge.
The children unleased their spooky creativity and we had some fabulous carvings this year!
Over 300 people attended over the 3 hours and it was wonderful to see so many of the children dressed up in fancy dress! Of course, the volunteers at the Kirk joined in the dressing up too and a our own coven of witches delivered steaming cups of Hot Mud with Frog Spawn (aka hot chocolate with marshmallows) and Vampires Blood with Clots (Berry cordial with Chewy sweets) as well as handing out bags of goodies from the cauldron.
