What a great way to start our Event Season! We were delighted to welcome the Orangewood Christian Highschool Choir from Orlanda, Florida. Currently touring Scotland along with a large group of their parents and teachers, they had already sung in St Giles in Edinburgh and will now move on to Ness Bank Church in the heart of Inverness. All are excited to be travelling in Scotland on this musical and cultural experience.
The choir sing a wide variety of music including classical, contemporary, sacred and pop. Their lovely strong voices filled the Kirk which, as ever, was a perfect setting.
We were also delighted to see a good number of our local supporters who braved the rather wet day to come along and listen to the choir. The Choir really had a full Kirk to appreciate their singing.
After the concert, the choir and audience were all invited to enjoy a hot drink and cake, provided as ever by our wonderful home-baking volunteers.
The Orangewood Choir really seemed to enjoy their visit.
