This weekend our volunteers have been busy spring cleaning and tidying up the library area, which is where we currently store all the paraphernalia for the events that we run. Everything has been boxed and labelled, making it so much easier for us to find things going forward!
They also took down the Christmas lights from the gardens. It was lovely to hear from a couple walking past that the lights had brought them so much joy throughout the Christmas period, making them smile as they returned from their Oban trips.
Whilst it always seems a bit of a melancholy time, packing away the bright lights and colours that make Christmas what it is, our volunteers did have something to lift their spirits when they spotted the tell tale shoots of the daffodils and crocuses poking their heads through the frosty leaf mulch. A welcome forerunner to more colour in the gardens!
